Our partner EGON OLDENDORFF Management GmbH is the world market leader in the transport of bulk cargo, maintaining its own fleet of over 500 vessels. In addition to its headquarter in Germany, the company's over 4,500 international employees are spread across 15 locations all over the world. For the progressive modernisation of the IT-system landscape and for delivering a cloud computing transformation, we are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) for the headquarter in the city of Lübeck and partly remote.


Your tasks

  • You take care of the conceptual and operational development as well as the optimization of the global IT infrastructure in order to ensure smooth processes
  • You proactively drive the implementation, maintenance and further development of the virtual server systems
  • As a member of an international team, you will actively shape the migration of IT systems to Azure Cloud environment in cooperation with the Cloud and DevOps Teams
  • You are responsible for the analytical testing and documentation of IT processes and use cases
  • In cooperation with external consultants and your own team, you will bring agile projects to success


Your profile

  • You are enthusiastic about IT infrastructure and you enjoy educating yourself on these topics
  • You are interested in the cloud environments, for example Azure, AWS, GCP and ideally already gained experience in this area
  • The Microsoft environment is your top topic and you are familiar with servers, client systems as well as AD, GPO and SQL
  • You enjoy working on agile projects in an international team and look forward to the possibility to travel abroad from time to time
  • You are fluent in English
