Senior Solution Architect

As a Senior Solution Architect, the future team member at algorismic will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s overall technology landscape while driving the strategic development of its digital platforms. This position acts as a bridge between technical complexity and business value, ensuring that all solutions are both innovative and commercially viable.

The company develops modular IIoT software solutions for process visualization and optimization that seamlessly integrate into existing industrial systems. These solutions collect real-time operational data, enabling measurable improvements in resource and energy efficiency, particularly in abatement operations.

• IoT Architecture Development: Designing scalable, secure, and high-performance end-to-end systems that seamlessly integrate hardware, software, and networks.

• Collaboration in the Product Trio: Working closely with the CTO and the Team Lead for Product Development to ensure the architecture is both technically sound and aligned with product goals.

• Technology Evaluation & Selection: Assessing various IoT platforms, hardware components, and communication protocols to identify the most suitable technologies for each use case.

• Alignment with Customer & Industry Needs: Ensuring that all architecture complies with regulatory standards in the semiconductor industry while meeting real user requirements; advising clients on sustainable software design and co-developing innovative solutions.

• Technical Implementation Support: Assisting with integration, ensuring security best practices, and acting as a point of contact for optimization and troubleshooting.

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development and architecture in an industrial setting

• Proficiency with Linux, C++, Python, and build tools such as Make/CMake

• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD (GitLab), and Docker

• A solid understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into scalable software solutions

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Self-driven, responsible, and comfortable with occasional business travel

• Fluency in English (B2 level or higher) for professional communication

• Office based in Dresden, the capital of Saxony and a growing high-tech hub
